Casual SEN Teaching Assistant

 

Salary: ME4

 

Required: Sept 2025

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and hard-working Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, on a casual contract, who will support pupils who may have additional learning, behavioural and emotional needs.

 

The post will be for a casual number of hours per week (term time) and will be subject to a conditional three month probationary period.

 

The successful candidates will have:

  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English
  • Suitable experience of supporting children with special needs
  • Excellent behaviour management skill
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Subject to two satisfactory references, overseas check, DBS check, right to work checks and medical clearance
  • Desirable: Paediatric First Aid trained
