Community Primary School (2-11 years)

Welcome to
St Mark's
Primary School

We are a successful and aspirational school where pupils from all backgrounds achieve strong results in a stimulating and safe environment.

Committed to Excellence

School Dinners

Our lunch break is from 12:00pm to 1:00pm for children in Reception and Year One and 12:15pm - 1:15pm for children in Years 2 to 6.  Children may have a school meal or bring a packed lunch.  We encourage our children to make healthy food choices and ask that packed lunches do not contain sweets, chocolate bars or fizzy drinks.

Lunches are cooked on our premises by our super cook.  Fresh vegetables and salad are on the menu each day.

All children from Reception to the Year 2 are eligible for a free school meal each day.

The cost of a lunch for children in Year 3 to Year 6 is £2.18 per day and payment should be made via ParentPay.

The school sets up a secure online account for you, which you then activate by using a unique activation Username and Password on the ParentPay site.  ParentPay offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available. Please note that online £2.18 is the minimum payment you can make.

Making a payment is straightforward and ParentPay holds an electronic record of your payments to view at a later date. Once you’ve activated your account you can make online payments straight away.

Non-payment for school meals affects the quality of service we are able to offer to the children, therefore we need to ensure that all payments are up-to-date and/or in credit.
